quinam dicantur, vide supra in a Latere et infra, in voce Legatus Apostolicus, addam saltem, Dom. Macro, istiusmodi Legatum, qui semper Praelatus, et ut plurimum
Cardinalis esse solet, sic dici, quod a latere Pontificis, sub eius baldachino, standi potestatem habeat. Idem, hos Graecis Legatos a facie dici, et sollemnibus cerimoniis creari, non nisi publici alicuius rotius Christianitatis negotio, ad exteros Principes, mittendos, addit in Hierol. Alii sunt Legati nati, Metropolitae viz. qui iure Legatorum Apostolicae, ut vocant Sedis, in suis dioecesibus acprovinciis gaudent; quales in Anglia olim Eboracensis s. Cantuariensis; in Gallia, Remensis; in Italia Ravennensis et Pilanus, etc. Archiepp. quorum tamen privilegia non nisi ad facultatem or dinariam Archiepiscopi s.
